We recently took a short trip to Denmark, my second, and my wife’s first trip. We had Hillerød and the Frederiksborg Castle on the must visit list. We had a great time in Frederiksborg Castle, I am working on that post and video, it will follow soon. I hope you enjoy this in the meantime.
On a beautiful day, we took a leisurely stroll through the charming town of Hillerød in Denmark, starting from the magnificent Frederiksborg Castle and ending at the train station. With a population of approximately 37,000, Hillerød exudes a peaceful atmosphere that is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our visit took place on April 24th, when the sun shone brightly, and a slight chill lingered in the air, adding to the tranquility of the surroundings. The grandeur of Frederiksborg Castle left me in awe, and I found myself wishing for more time to delve deeper into the town’s rich history and explore the beautiful castle grounds. I hope to return in the future to indulge in a more extensive exploration of this captivating destination.
